On a warm July evening, I met up with Ghyll & Tom for their engagement session at Sakonnet Garden, a private botanical garden in Little Compton, Rhode Island filled with an incredible assortment of flowers & plants. Ghyll had told me all about the garden and I was so excited to see all the beautiful flowers and landscaping she had described to me in person.

The garden was an endless source of beautiful backdrops and framing opportunities.
The Red Mughal Pavilion
As if their session wasn’t magical enough already, a small herd of corgis decided to join in! It’s impossible not to smile as they’re running at you with those little tiny legs and big ol’ ears.
And, surprise! More magical things! As we were strolling through the field, snapping a few more photos, these two trotted over to say hello.
I loved exploring Sakonnet Garden with Ghyll & Tom and I can’t wait to capture their wedding next year!
